Signal Code Flags Info

These are signal code flags. In this system of flags each letter is represented by a flag that has a different design. In the International Code of Signals a complete set consists of 26 alphabet flags, 11 pennants and 3 substitute flags. The flags are done in limited colors that are contrasting. The colors are Old Glory Red, Old Glory blue, white, black and yellow. This allows for easy recognition. These nautical flags not only represent letters of the alphabet but also signal simple messages. They include distress, compass points and bearings, geographical positions, time and position, latitude and longitude and maneuvering.
